Introduction |
The Berufsfortbildungswerk des DGB (bfw) is one of the biggest non-profit-providers of education in Germany. For over 50 years, the organization acts successfully as a service-provider for vocational and further training in nearly all sectors and vocational fields.
The strength of the bfw is based on its broad offer of educational services as well as on its strong regional presence. In about 270 educational centers, individual and demand-oriented concepts of vocational training are provided by the bfw.
As Europe grows together, there is a need for education and labour market policies that are designed regardless of regional and national borders. Responsive to this development, the bfw created a competence center to initiate and support EU-funded projects.
The Competence Center EUROPE (CCE) is specialised in the initiation and implementation of pilot projects in the field of vocational and further training. As leading coordinator or project partner it covers the whole range of European project management.
The facilitation of the whole project performance from the first idea to a successful end is a vital concern of the CCE-personnel. The project coordinators and consultants offer professional project management and support, especially with regard to funding and administration.
